What's Happening

Blake went to his pediatriation on Monday. He got 5 shots and he did great. I had to leave the room and Josh held him with the nurse. At 2 months he weighed 12lbs 10 oz and was 24.25 inches long. He was in the 75% on weight and 90% on height. THe doctor commented on how strong Blake was. He also has started sitting in his Bumbo seat. He likes it for short amount of times. I went to Wal-mart and got the cutest pool. It is pretty good size with a safari theme and the entire blow up pool is covered. This way he can sit out in our backyard with me occasionally this summer. Maybe Macie and Jackson can come over for a swim party in June.

On Thursday night Blake slept from 10:00-5:30, that is the longest he has gone. Josh got him a Swaddle Me blanket and a white noise machine with 34 different sounds and it has made a big difference. He woke up around 2:45 and 4:30 but I put his paci back in his mouth and he went right to sleep. Maybe this wasn't a one time occurance but will start happening every night.

My kiddos at school did amazing on the math TAKS. I am so proud of all of them. Last year I had 9 fail the 6th grade TAKS (not including sp ed) This year 7 out of the 9 passed. I had 50/52 pass! I am so excited for them. I wish I was there to celebrate and tell them the good news.

Josh started on Monday at the new bank, Southwest Bank. He is enjoying it so far. He is right across the street from Hurricane Harbor for 4-6 months until the new branch in South Arlington opens. The traffic is pretty bad that direction is the only thing.

Summer and Rachel are coming this weekend so we are really excited to see them. Only a couple more weeks till George and Reba. I love Reba, especially her TV show. If you haven't seen it you should. She is hilarious!
